Remember getting on the train and getting a sick feeling in my stomach that we were about to dominate liverpool and win. Brilliant match really miss Ashton.

I went and came back on the train feeling an immense sense of pride even though I was absolutely gutted. Took me a while to get over that.

Great game and oh so very close to being one of the best days of my life, thought we were fantastic that day. I have no problem watching the highlights when they're shown, it's capitulations like West Brom last season that I struggle with

Fantastic day and performance the boys and club did us proud. I was there and until Gerrard scored probably the best ever goal scored in a FA Cup Final it looked to be ours, but that was a goal of a lifetime.
Just wasn`t to be but what a day.
It will come again.

We did the same FC. Was well worth it, still a brilliant day. Thousands of people must have done the same I reckon.

Was on my honeymoon in the Maldives. Went to every single round prior so the semi was my cup final.
Sold my cup final ticket to a mate at face value even though someone else offered me £2000 for it. Still haven't watched it again as too painful

The 2nd Gerrard goal hurt me, but Reina's save in the last minute of ET from the free kick that hit Reo-Coker's back hurt me more:

I was there too - managed to get 2 extra tickets as I had my ex-wife's season ticket and membership and went with Frankie - great day out but the most painful journey home I have ever had.
I've had the match on a media drive for years but have never watched it!!
